Longmont Wards, City Council

The City of Longmont is geographically divided into three election wards. The ward boundaries are reviewed at least every ten years to insure that each ward has approximately the same number of citizens. The last review of the boundaries was completed in July, 2003. Each Ward elects one Council member to represent the residents who live in that Ward on the City Council. The remaining Council members and the Mayor are elected by all citizens of the community and are considered to be representatives at-large.
